Hello there, and congratulations on your pregnancy. Please note I am a Taupo based midwife. Thank you for considering me as your midwife. I very much appreciate the privilege of joining women and their family members throughout their pregnancy and birth journey (from 5-6 weeks pregnant, labour and birth, and to 4-6 weeks after birth). I aim to provide safe and individualised care, working in partnership with you to achieve the best possible experience for you. I have a strong focus on pregnancy being a normal physiological process, and for uncomplicated pregnancies my aim is to support and empower women in birthing their baby’s in the most natural way, be that at home, in a primary birthing unit, or hospital setting. For more complicated pregnancies, in consultation with yourself, I will also refer to other health professionals should it be required to ensure your well-being and safety, and that of your baby. I book a small caseload to enable me to provide a comprehensive level of care.
