Congratulations on your pregnancy ???? I have been a midwife for fourteen years now and consider myself so blessed as midwifery is my absolute passion. Midwifery to me will never be a job, it's so much more. I work alongside two supportive midwives who have the same heart for midwifery. I am a proud mum and this year I will get promoted to a grandma! Yes I feel old but lucky! I never take it for granted that I have been chosen to support a family through the excitement of a pregnancy. I believe in discussing all care options based on a risk/benefit approach to ensure that women get the care that is right for their family. We are all different, the important thing is that as women we feel respected and listened to. I have many interests including playing roller derby and reading. I’m very open minded & believe everyone needs the ability to talk and make decisions without judgement. Pregnancy can certainly be a rollercoaster of ups and downs but in the end good support makes everything easier. Free to talk :)
