Congratulations on your pregnancy. I am a NZ-trained midwife, long-term Queenstown local and mother of one active teenager who was born in Queenstown. It has been my privilege to support women in Queenstown’s diverse community. I am originally from Japan and spent some time in Brazil before moving to Queenstown, then married to my NZ-born husband. I respect each woman’s unique cultural background. If this would be your first pregnancy or you came from another country, you may be unfamiliar with NZ Maternity services. I am pleased to help answer any questions you may have. My aim is to help you enjoy, give you confidence and feel safe during pregnancy, childbirth and the early postnatal period.
