Tena koutou katoa te whanau whanui. My role as a midwife is as Kaitiaki, caring for wahine, their new-born pepi and including those meaningful to them. I have 5 tamariki myself including 4 mokopuna and I tautoko the kaupapa of 'Whanau Ora'. Being a midwife is more than mahi including manaakitanga, aroha, matauranga, wairuatanga & ngakau mahaki.
