Congratulations on your pregnancy! I am passionate about building trusting midwife-woman relationships, promoting normality, facilitating water birth and homebirth. By working in partnership with you and your family/whānau, I will listen to you and support you by sharing information so that you can make decisions you need to for you and your baby. I will be an advocate for you and work together with the medical team when required to plan your care to ensure safety for you and your baby. I work in partnership with Eve Watson and we share our caseload and on call. You will meet and get to know us both throughout your pregnancy. I trained as a midwife in Aberdeen (Scotland). I have worked as a midwife for 4 years. In my first year, I worked in a maternity hospital. I worked as a community midwife in my second year and moved to New Zealand in 2020. I have worked for Lakes DHB from March 2021 after travelling around beautiful Aotearoa. We look forward to meeting you!
