Congratulations on your pregnancy. Finding a midwife who you feel is right for you is an early and important part of preparing to be a mother. I believe pregnancy and childbirth is a truly precious time. In my work as a midwife I encourage women to stay healthy and confident in their ability to birth. In labour I work with women experiencing a normal birth. As well I hold epidural certification to ensure I am able to continue caring for women if their labour becomes more complex. After the birth I visit at home for six weeks. I am an IBC Lactation Consultant to help with breast feeding issues during this time. My skills as a midwife have developed over more than twenty years working in both Wellington Womens and Greymouth Hospitals. I am availble to meet with you at my clinic in central Greymouth. I have regular days off with cover from like minded colleagues who also work to ensure you have an experience which is both safe and satisfying. I look forward to hearing from you.
