Congratulations on your pregnancy! It is a privilege to be able to provide full continuity of care for women throughout your pregnancy, labour/birth and postnatal journey. My midwifery philosophy is that it is centred around the woman and together we will create an individualised care plan that suits you and your family/whānau. I believe that birth is a natural physiological process which should be viewed from a model of health and wellness. I have recently returned to community midwifery practice in June 2020 after working as a Senior Lecturer in the Otago Polytechnic School of Midwifery for the past years. I have take a small LMC community midwife caseload during the past years and have previously worked a core midwife in Queen Mary Maternity Centre and as a full time community midwife in the past. I am a mum to two children aged 21 and 17. I look forward to meeting you!
