Hi there, I'm Louise.. Congratulations on your pregnancy!! I have been a midwife since 2006, when I completed my Bachelor of Midwifery degree in Dunedin. I initially worked a mixture of hospital shifts & LMC caseload (while my children were very young) in Otago & Southland. In 2014 my family relocated to New Plymouth. My children are now teenagers & we love our life in Taranaki. I worked in a group practice, Partners in Pregnancy, from 2014 - 2022. When the practice closed Dec 2022, I continued LMC care alongside midwives Kylie White & Tayla Hesseltine. Our clinic rooms are based at 28 Pioneer Road, Moturoa, New Plymouth. I am passionate about my role as a Midwife & love supporting Women & Whānau throughout their childbirth journey! I aim to provide care individualised to your specific needs. My midwifery philosophy promotes normal childbirth & breastfeeding, including homebirth & water birth, as well as hospital births. I look forward to getting to know you & walking alongside you on this journey.
