Emma Masterson

My name is Emma & I’m a community midwife based in East Auckland. My antenatal clinics are at Botany Downs Maternity Unit every Wednesday, I can support you at your birth either at Botany Maternity Unit or Middlemore Hospital and I will visit you at home for 6 weeks after your baby is born. As a mother of two children myself, I understand & appreciate what a life changing experience this will be for you & your whānau! My midwifery philosophy is to promote normal birth and help women achieve a safe & rewarding birth experience. Put simply, my aim is to work alongside you & your family to ensure you feel informed, confident & happy during your pregnancy, birth and in the weeks after. My promise is to care for you and your family with empathy & compassion. I work with an amazing team of midwives at Safe Hands Midwifery based out of Botany Maternity Unit , in conjunction with a wider obstetric team at Middlemore Hospital to ensure you & your baby receive the best possible care.
