Summer Campbell (Earney)

Hi there, congratulations on your pregnancy - what an exciting time in your life! I am a midwife working in the Hamilton region and run my clinics from River Ridge Birth Centre upstairs on Tuesdays. I feel privileged to be able to provide individualised care to women and their whānau throughout pregnancy, labour and birth, and in the postnatal period. I believe in women's abilities to grow, birth and nourish their babies as these are normal and physiological parts of life. As such I will support you to birth at home or in a primary birthing unit - or in a hospital only if medically indicated. As a midwife, it is my role to help provide you with informed choice and consent, advocate for and support your needs, share information and help you to feel empowered in your unique journey. I am lucky enough to have three children of my own. I work with an amazing midwife Sonia where we provide support to each other to maintain sustainability I always take my lovely return clients with subsequent pregnancies!
