Welcome to Finding Your Midwife! Finding a midwife that seems right for you and your family is important to me and I encourage it. A little about me, I initially trained as a nurse then later retrained as a midwife after some years of legal and business work in between – I wanted to get back to making a difference in my community, especially for women and helping them achieve a positive birth and care experience. I have two young adult children, Hawkes Bay is my family region, I grew up here and love it! I am an experienced LMC and the reward in my work comes from knowing that you are heard, your values are respected and implemented in your care, you receive excellent advocacy and maternity care, and we work in partnership together.
