Congratulations on your pregnancy and the exciting journey unfolding before you! I am an experienced midwife based at Botany Birthing Unit where we have a clinic room available to us. I work with a group of like minded midwives, whom you will be able to meet during your pregnancy, who can provide back up on days off or busy days. I am passionate about normal birth and the right for women to be given the chance to succeed at this, while always keeping both mum and baby safe. I love water births but also use the pool just for pain relief. I offer a fun and friendly experience for you and your family with practical support and caring throughout your pregnancy, labour, birth and postnatal time at home. Please contact me if you are keen on birthing at home, in a primary birthing unit or would like to discuss these options. I will also attend births at hospital if complications in your pregnancy arise which mean you are no longer suitable for a primary unit birth or if a need for transfer in labour is required.
