About Me

Hello and congratulations on your pregnancy! My name is Maggie. I have been working as a core midwife in Auckland city hospital before I became a LMC. I believe pregnancy and birth is a normal life event and strive to support you through this journey to achieve a normal birth with positive experience. However, should complications arise, I will make the appropriate referrals and continue to support you while you are receiving obstetric or paediatric care. I believe women know their body and I love to work with them in partnership and empower them throughout their labour and birth. I am also passionate about breastfeeding support. My midwifery philosophy is the care should be women centred, respectful and individualised. I work with a group of midwives with similar practice philosophy. I offer care for those birthing at Auckland City Hospital. I look forward to hearing from you.
