About Me

I am a registered midwife based in Pukekohe, who provides care to women primarily in the Franklin region. I absolutely love my work, and am passionate about providing women-centred maternity care. I believe pregnancy and birth are normal life events, and offer primary maternity care to women intending to birth at Pukekohe Maternity Unit, or at home. I enjoy developing relationships with women during this time which involves working alongside you and your whānau throughout your pregnancy, birth and the first six weeks of your postnatal journey. I work alongside an incredible group of experienced and like-minded midwives, and we work to support each other to have regular time off. Each week the midwives in our group have 48 hours off-call, where our back-up midwife is available should you need to contact someone. This allows us each to have time with our families and ensure continued safe midwifery practice. My key back-up midwives are Carol Hedgman and Sarah Bosgra.
