Hi and warm congratulations on your pregnancy. I am a midwife with over 30 years of experience, for the last 18 years at Waikato Hospital, 9 of which were in Birthing Suite and 11 as a Charge Midwife of the Antenatal and Postnatal wards. I have also been sole charge after hours of a rural birthing unit and worked as a midwife in the Northern Territory, Australia. I am also a Registered Nurse. I have a family orientated approach and care, empathy and professional skill are my most important attributes. I am committed to providing women and their families with the time, information, expertise and support they need to fulfill their expectations. Working in partnership with you is important to me, as is listening to your thoughts and needs. Safety is always my priority. I have extensive breast feeding experience and am able to provide support with formula feeding or a combination that meets the women's wishes.
