My name is Sandy I have been a self-employed midwife since August 2014. Prior to that I worked at Middlemore Hospital where I became familiar with the maternity system in Counties Manukau, allowing me to support the women I now care for.
I am passionate about keeping birth as natural as possible, providing safe care to women and their families throughout and following the pregnancy. If specialist's care is required I work alongside the obstetric team at Middlemore Hospital to provide the best care plan for you.
I am passionate about continuity of care and working in partnership with women.
I work with Kirsten Cresswell who provides back-up when I am unavailable.
My clinic is every Wednesday afternoon ONLY in Manukau. I have every second weekend off-call and take leave to refresh.
