About Me

Congratulations on your pregnancy! I have returned to practice, after taking some Maternity Leave with my second baby, and I am so excited to be back in this role which I love. I have been based in Queenstown since 2004 and have worked in this community as a midwife since 2013. I have also worked in a range of other midwifery settings from rural Kaikoura (2012) to Auckland City Hospital (2017). I believe passionately in women receiving safe, supportive, informative, and unbiased care throughout their pregnancy and birth, to enable you and your partner to make confident, fully informed decisions for your labour/birth and into your new parenting experience. Having recently had my own babies and faced some of the tough challenges and decisions unique to women who live in this region, I feel that I have a broader perspective to better provide thorough, one-on-one care. To ensure that you and your partner feel empowered and knowledgeable throughout the pregnancy, and ready to meet your new baby.

How to Get Hold of Me

I am flexible and accessible by phone or email. I know it’s hard to choose who is right for each individual to have as your midwife, I am happy to speak to you and answer questions about the type of care you are looking for. My team and I only take on a small number of women each month in order to provide thorough, safe, one-on-one continuity of care, including travelling to your chosen place of birth should that be outside of Queenstown. I look forward to hearing from you ☺️
