I am passionate about midwifery and really appreciate the privilege of being involved with women and their families during this special time. I specialise in Primary Birth - normal birth in the Community (Birth Centres and home birth) and this is where I have worked since graduating in 2010. I can support birthing women at Waikato Hospital if there is a medical necessity, however, I DO NOT provide epidural pain relief in labour. I treat everyone as an individual as every woman, baby and pregnancy is different and should be treated like it. I use lots of different resources to ensure you have the most up-to-date information based on current research and make a care plan that suits you and your baby. I have lived rurally for most of my life and, together with my husband, share milk around 500 cows on the outskirts of Hamilton. We have four adult children.
