You’re pregnant! How wonderful and congratulations. Hi I'm Wendy, as a mother I know that pregnancy and birth is an extraordinary normal part of a woman’s life journey. As a midwife I understand and respect that every woman’s pregnancy, birth and motherhood experience is unique. I would be delighted to provide you and your whānau with the personalised pregnancy, birth and postnatal care you are looking for during this special time. I am down to earth, caring and approachable and I have many aims as a midwife. The most important is building a trusting and respectful relationship with a focus on safe outcomes and a positive, empowering experience. I provide supportive and informative antenatal care, mainly in clinics, although I remain flexible enough to accommodate differing needs. I work collaboratively, meaning I can refer you to other caring professionals along the way if needed. All postnatal care is in your own home customised around your individual needs.
