I'm a mother of two young adults & enjoy providing midwifery care to the women and families of Banks Peninsula.
Labour & birth is most positive in the environment you feel comfortable, as such I offer labour/birth care in your home, Lincoln Maternity Unit or Christchurch Women's Hospital. I continue to provide midwifery care if health conditions or arising complications require input from other professionals. Visits during your pregnancy are held in Little River and/or in your home. Postnatal care extends 4-6 weeks after birth & is provided in your home.
I encourage women to be fully informed & will support the choices you make for yourself & your baby.
My philosophy is based on working in partnership with you to develop an individual care plan that values your knowledge & respects your wishes.
I am part of an established practice & work closely with Tania Rountree & Rebecca Harris who you can meet during your pregnancy.
