Congratulations of your pregnancy. My name is Rachel Allan and I am a registered midwife/LMC and mother of one, I work with Angela Cromb, Marilla Thomson and Mary Ritchie together we make up New Beginnings Midwifery located 8A Broadway City Centre. I have a natural interest in supporting women throughout their pregnancy and postnatal period and enjoy watching women grow from early pregnancy to confident mothers. Marilla, Mary, Angela and myself believe birth to be a natural life event, whilst acknowledging that some pregnancies and births may require additional support. We therefore individualise your care and when appropriate work alongside our obstetric colleagues. By working together we ensure continuity of midwifery care, supporting informed choice as we believe this to be the cornerstone of the care we provide.
