Kia ora and congratulations on your pregnancy! As a midwife, I aim to develop meaningful and professional relationships with the women that I care for. I do this through shared decision-making, encouragement and mutual trust. I fully believe in the partnership model that is used within the New Zealand maternity system and by following these guidelines will provide individualised and supportive midwifery care for you and your whānau.
During this wonderful journey, it is my role to provide you with thorough and up-to-date information to empower you to make informed decisions regarding your health and the health of your baby. I will provide care for you during your pregnancy, labour and birth, also visiting you at home for 4-6 weeks after your baby is born. I take a small caseload of women each month and offer antenatal visits out of my clinic on Amohia Street. I look forward to hearing from you, all the best for your pregnancy and beyond.
