Kia ora! My name is Camille and I am a Māori midwife. I come from the far north, but I was raised by my grand-parents right here in Mangere Bridge. I absolutely love caring for all women and babies in South Auckland and I especially value the time I get to spend with Māori whānau. I myself have three children and family is a very important part of life for me. My focus as a midwife is to walk alongside women and whānau during this special time, allowing our relationship to build so that together we can ensure that you and your baby get the best care possible. I specialise in primary care which means I awhi mama’s through a normal and natural approach to pregnancy and childbirth. I enjoy supporting women to find their own strengths to become empowered in their birthing journey at either Home, Botany Downs Birthing Unit or Middlemore Hospital. Furthermore, I work within a wider group of experienced and supportive midwives. If this sounds like the care you are looking for please feel free to contact me.
