Meg Lamason

Congratulations! As an LMC midwife I enjoy working in partnership with women and their families during their pregnancy, labour and birth, and in the early weeks with baby. An important part of my role is ensuring that I am up to date with the current research so that I can provide evidence based care and support women to make informed decisions, empowering them to be active in their pregnancy and birth experience. I like to take the time to get to know each of my clients and develop an individualised care plan. I have a small caseload so that I can offer you the time you need, providing quality and continuity of care. I work with Mamaku Midwives, a group of six midwives sharing a similar philosophy, a strong belief in a woman's ability to birth physiologically and free from intervention. I provide care to women in the Hutt Valley region from Petone to Upper Hutt, including Wainuomata and Eastbourne. I am a member of the NZ College of Midwives and work to their prescribed standards of care.
