Having a child is a major life event and I feel privileged to be involved in the care of women and their baby as a Midwife. My aim is to provide information which supports women to be active in the decision making process; empowering women by supporting their choices and wishes. I believe childbirth is a normal physiological process; and I want to ensure women and their families are provided with positive experiences during this precious time in their lives. Continuity of care is an aspect of Midwifery I am passionate about. I enjoy forming partnerships with women and their families which allows me to provide individualised care and support during pregnancy, birth and the early stages of parenthood.
I am a member of a very supportive and well established practice; Rodney Coast Midwives.
I live on the Whangaparaoa Peninsula with my husband, daughter and our very active golden Labrador.
