Welcome to your childbirth journey. I live in the Buller Bay region with my husband & ten year old son. I provide full maternity care with Buller Birthing Practice, supporting women to birth at home, Kawatiri maternity unit & Grey Base Hospital when secondary care is required. I enjoy a small caseload as this assists me to provide individualised evidence-based care. I have a holistic approach to midwifery practice & incorporate massage, maternity aromatherapy & reflexology into my care, free of charge, to assist women with the normal physiological adjustments in pregnancy, labour & the postnatal period. I am passionate about nutrition in pregnancy & supporting women to make informed choices that are right for them & their families so that they may feel empowered throughout their childbirth journey. I also host a half day Active Childbirth Preparation workshop, 4 times a year at Kawatiri primary birthing unit, free of charge, to help promote a healthy pregnancy, labour & birth experience for you.
