Cath Shore

Hi I’m Cath, Congratulations on your pregnancy. I have been a midwife for over 25 years and I am based in North Canterbury, providing clinics both at Rangiora Hospital and Amberley Medical centre. Originally form the UK, I qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1989 then later as a Midwife in 1994. I worked within the NHS in a variety of settings but mainly on the Birthing Unit where I enjoy supporting women and their families during labour and birth. I worked at Christchurch Women’s Hospital as part of the core team of midwives prior to becoming and LMC. I love being a midwife and feel it’s a real privilege to be “with women” and their families during such a special life changing time. I will listen and respect your choices and wishes throughout your pregnancy, labour and postnatal care. I am epidural certified and will support pain relief options you choose/need during labour.
