Safe Hands Midwifery

About Me

Congratulations! I originally immigrated from South Africa in 2009 and am proud to call NZ my home. In 2018, I graduated with a BHSc(Midwifery), my clinical training has involved providing care for women in Counties Manukau DHB which has allowed for me to become familiar with the system and processes. I am part of the experienced Safe Hands Midwifery Team at Botany Maternity unit. We provide each other with back-up to ensure that care being provided is of a safe and high standard. I am passionate about providing holistic,woman-centred care. I strive to always keep updated with the latest evidence based care and provide competent care.I believe pregnancy and birth are normal life events and aim to achieve safe and rewarding birth outcomes for you and baby. I collaborate closely with the obstetric team to provide you with the appropriate care when required. My role involves seeing you regularly before baby is born, providing care during your labour and birth and visiting at home 6 weeks after your baby is born.
