About Me

Welcome to finding your midwife and congratulations on your pregnancy! I come from a background of nursing (qualified 2002) working as a RN in the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU). I grew up in CHB, moving to Napier in 1998. I have teenage children and now have the ability as a midwife to be on call 24/7 giving one to one expert midwifery care to women who choose to book with me. I am approachable, open, and respectful. I genuinely care your experience is positive and you are heard throughout. I’m passionate about quality maternity care and so are my backup midwives. Some of my values: genuine informed choice, confidentiality, professionalism, research-based discussions, and a holistic approach. It’s important to me that I can be someone you feel comfortable with, I strive to provide care that incorporates your values with my knowledge & skill. I look forward to hearing from you if I seem like the right midwife for your care.
