Hayley Slater

Congratulations on your pregnancy! My name is Hayley Slater; I am a registered midwife with a background in nursing. I have 3 children and live on a farm in Darfield. I provide antenatal, labour and birth and postnatal care to women throughout their pregnancy and childbirth journey until 6 weeks after the baby has been born. I have a rural focus and work within the Selwyn Community Midwives. I work closely with my practice partner Bonnie Hunter to ensure women have care available 24/7. I feel strongly about providing individualised care to women and their families and am passionate about supporting women to experience a normal birth by creating a calm, safe birthing environment. Collaborating with other health professionals when required is something I feel confident doing to ensure the safety of you and your baby. I hold clinics in Darfield and Lincoln and support women to birth at home, primary units and at hospital. It would be a privilege to share in your childbirth journey.
