About Me

(Last updated 25/11/21) Congratulations! What a wonderful time in your life this is! ... and nerve-racking and exciting and terrifying and joyous. I’ve been there and felt it all and now I am honoured that I get to help you along in your own journey. I began midwifery practice in 2011 and spent the first few years of my career working at Middlemore Hospital while taking breaks to have my own babies. I also have experience working in primary birthing units and have completed a postgraduate diploma in midwifery practice. I began Lead Maternity Carer work at the start of 2018 and am finally realising a dream I’ve had since 2007 – to be able to walk with women and their families throughout their childbirth experience and support them as they become parents. I have clinics at Womb Midwifery Centre in Te Puke for antenatal appointments and will come to see you at home after baby is born. I have a preference for births at the birthing centre and at home but can support you in a hospital birth if needed.

How to Get Hold of Me

Feel free to text or call me on 027 644 3744 or email me using the form below and I will respond as soon as I am able. It is helpful for me to know your name, when you are due, what suburb you live in, what number baby you are having, what your previous births were like, and if you have any medical conditions. I am happy to receive this information by text message, email, or phone. Alternatively you can fill in the booking form on our website ( My antenatal clinics are currently on Wednesdays and my midwifery partner is Sam Rhodes. If you have had me as a midwife before and want to book with me again then please get in touch regardless of what my availability says.
