Congratulations on your pregnancy! I am a lead maternity carer midwife working in the community and a proud mother of 7 amazing children. I am passionate about providing safe and personalised maternity care to women and their family/whānau. I work within in a supportive practice with 5 other experienced midwives, all with similar philosophies on pregnancy and birth. Throughout your journey into parenthood I will provide information and support you in making decisions that work for you and your family, with the philosophy that this is your pregnancy your baby and your body, therefore you have the right to make decisions that are best for you and your family. We support you in birthing where it feels best for you, whether this be at home, in a birthing unit or at Christchurch Women's Hospital. Please feel free to contact me to arrange a time to meet.
