About Me
Congratulations on your pregnancy.
Watching women take up the challenge to become healthy, strong mamas is one reason I love my job. I have always had a strong focus and commitment to working with women under 20 years old. I strongly believe that age does not make a mother and that every woman deserves the same respect and choice for their birth journey.
This does not mean that I only look after women in this age group however, as I enjoy meeting women and whānau from all walks of life.
I offer women and their whānau choice about birth place with a strong focus and support on home and primary unit birthing. Tertiary birthing facilities will be utilised only when clinically indicated. I do not offer epidural as a pain relief option.
I have always worked with Birth Rite Midwives as a LMC midwife in the community.
Each midwife in Birth Rite Midwives works 7 days on followed by 7 days off call, with the other midwife in the pair working on the opposite week.
