Caroline Jones

About Me

Hello and congratulations on your pregnancy. My name is Caroline and I am a Registered Midwife working in the beautiful Bay of Plenty. I am married to a great supportive husband and I’m a mother to 5 great kids. I work with a small group of experienced midwives and support women who choose to birth in Tauranga Hospital. I am passionate about pregnancy and childbirth and believe that both are normal life events and will support women within the hospital. I will work with a woman and her family in partnership, sharing my knowledge and promoting and protecting the normal. If your birth or pregnancy falls outside of the normal boundaries I will refer you to the appropriate health professional. I am a primary care midwife and I do not provide epidural care. If this is something you require in your labour, care will be handed over to secondary care. It is a privilege to share this special journey with a woman and I will care for you throughout pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period.

How to Get Hold of Me

The best way to contact me is on my mobile 027 508-3443 - ring to arrange an appointment, or feel free to send me a text and I will call you back. You can also send me an email using the link below. I offer antenatal care at the Mums & Tums clinic, 50 Girven Road – Bayfair – Mt Maunganui. I work with a supportive group of midwives at Mums & Tums – we each have our own caseloads but provide backup for each other when required. I cover Tauranga, Mt Maunganui, Papamoa, Te Puke to Paengaroa, and Te Puna to the Kaimais and surrounding areas. I look forward to hearing from you.
