Congratulations on your pregnancy. What an exciting journey you have ahead. I am a mother of four children, the youngest two being twins. While at home with my children in their early years I was a La Leche League leader, teaching and supporting women to breastfeed.
As a midwife, I believe in the importance of providing continuity of care, which means I will care for you during your antenatal period and birth, whether it is at Pukekohe maternity unit, Papakura maternity unit or Middlemore hospital. This care continues for up to 6 weeks after your baby is born.
Birth is a normal part of life and I believe it is important for women to be actively involved in their pregnancy care so I will ensure you have the information necessary to make informed choices and decisions. Our team values the support and relationships we have with staff and specialists at Middlemore hospital. I work with a team of 3 other supportive midwives which enables us all to take alternate weekends off to spend time with our families
