About Me
Congratulations on your pregnancy. I would be happy to care for you and your family during this important time in your life. I have been working as a midwife for the past 16 years in a variety of settings in the UK and here in Christchurch, prior to this I previously worked as a registered Nurse for 6 years. I have two amazing boys myself and understand the importance of good support and choices throughout your journey towards parenthood.
My role as the midwife is to work in partnership with women and their families to support and guide them through the normal life events of pregnancy and birth. I support women to birth in a setting of her choice, that could be at home, in a primary unit or at Christchurch Women's Hospital. I do have an epidural certificate if this becomes necessary throughout your labour. I run a clinic in Rangiora and in Christchurch. I predominately care for women in North Canterbury and in Christchurch. I work within a great group practice called Your Choice Midwives
