About Me
Kia ora,
Congratulations on your pregnancy. Unfortunately, I am fully booked for births and currently only available for elective caesareans.
My name is Candice, I am a midwife and a mother to a beautiful little girl.
I believe that pregnancy, birth and motherhood are significant events in your life that are unique to you. I am passionate about providing information to support you to make choices that are right for you and your family/whanau. It is my aim to work in partnership with you to provide you with safe, supportive and individualised care. I am committed to supporting continuity of midwifery care throughout your pregnancy, birth and the 5 weeks after your baby is born. Continuity of care enables you to get to know your midwife well and a trusting relationship can be formed.
I offer all pregnancy care including caesarean sections.
How to Get Hold of Me
Most of my antenatal care is provided at my clinic which takes place once a week. I provide all postnatal care in your home and will support you to birth in an environment that you feel comfortable.
Please give me a call. I would love to meet you and we can talk about what is important in your journey and you can decide if I am the right midwife for you. I am happy to care for you if you are planning a normal birth or an elective caesarean section.

You can drop in and see me at my clinic on a Wednesday at 201 Linwood Ave - The Piki Te Ora doctors rooms, left hand side (Look for the midwife sign). Text me before coming to confirm i have availability.
