About Me

Congratulations on your pregnancy. My name is Vanessa and I am proud to be a midwife working with women and families in the Selwyn district. I am a mother of two girls and a Wee boy, in my spare time enjoy quality time with family and friends. I am very proud to be a midwife and find so much pleasure in experiencing the journey of pregnancy and birth with the families I work with. It is my philosophy to provide continuity of care throughout the entire journey of pregnancy, labour and birth and the postnatal period. I support the normal process of birth, and will support, empower and educate you throughout this time. I work in partnership with Miriam Hughes who has been supporting women and families in Lincoln and the surrounding area's for a very long time. We look forward to meeting you!
