I have been working as a midwife since 1996 - first as a labour ward midwife in the UK specialising in high risk births and then as part of the community home birth team. I have been in NZ since 2006 and love my job as a LMC. My passion is promoting normal birth but also ensuring women who are considered high risk get the kind of birth they want .
I look after around 4-5 women a month and take women from Whenuapai right up to Glorit and Waitoki in the North. However this is flexible !!
I am very passionate about my job and my aim is to help you achieve the birth you want and to get your partner involved as much as they wish.
I work with Arlene as my back up who you get to meet in your pregnancy as well.
Clinics are based at either Huapai or Helensville Birth centre - whichever is easier for you.
I have 4 children of my own - 18,15,13 and 5, all were very different experiences which is why you can never treat women the same.
