My name is Teressa Lindsey I'm a caseload Midwife at Tokoroa Hospital. Completing my Bachelor of Midwifery Degree 2012 at Waikato Institute of Technology (WINTEC) then passing my Midwifery Registration Exam in March 2012. I moved to Tokoroa at the beginning of 2012 working as a self employed midwife. I am now back living in Tokoroa after spending nearly 12 months working in South Taranaki as a core midwife/self employed midwife. My Midwifery Philosophy - My Training has taught me many things, most of all that all situations are not the same, and as long as women, families and midwives work in a professional partnership the best of outcomes for all individuals can be sought. A woman’s journey into motherhood is a special but normal life-changing experience. I believe pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding is an instinctive journey in many women’s lives. Working one-to-one with women through the entire birth spectrum; offering continuity of care throughout pregnancy, labour and birth, and the postnatal period.
