About me
Congratulations on your pregnancy!
The journey of bringing a new life into a family is a period of many emotions. As a community midwife it is an honour to walk alongside wāhine and whānau during such a special time. I aim to offer partnership, sharing of knowledge, support and empowerment for women to be confident in their abilities and choices in pregnancy, birth and postnatal period. My care is individualised to each wahine and culture, and is professional/safe and delivered with compassion and kindness. Sometimes providing safe midwifery care whilst working in partnership means we have natural births, other times it may mean receiving some medical input, which I will be there to guide. The important outcome being a safe, empowering and rewarding journey for wahine, whānau and baby.
This is your pregnancy/birth journey - I will walk alongside you in partnership.
The lovely wāhine I work with birth at Middlemore Hospital and Botany Downs Birthing Unit.
My clinics are on a Wednesday morning on Great South Road in Manukau.
I work with the lovely Sandy Stephenson as my back up midwife.
Feel free to contact me via email.
