Hi! Congratulations on your pregnancy! My name is Kayla and I am a self-employed midwife providing care to women in South and East Auckland suburbs who are wanting to deliver at Nga Hau or Middlemore. I believe childbirth is a naturally occurring experience and therefore I only provide PRIMARY care. My role as a midwife is to support, encourage and provide education to you and your family throughout your entire childbirth experience. This means, I will care for you and your family during pregnancy, labour and birth and your postnatal period up to 6 weeks as you adjust to having your little one. My antenatal clinic is at Nga Hau Birthing Unit in Mangere on a Tuesday.
