Congratulations on your pregnancy! Originally from Canada where I practised as a doula, I now practise as a midwife in Wānaka and the surrounding areas.

My approach intertwines holistic care with the latest evidence-based practices, creating a safe space for shared decision-making. My goal is for everyone I work with to feel nurtured, respected, and supported, recognising that optimal care looks different for each individual.

I believe that birth is a normal physiological process, while also understanding that, like all aspects of life, sometimes we need to adjust our plans. I work closely with the obstetric team in Dunedin when their input is needed, ensuring a comprehensive support system is in place for your care. My commitment is to empower families with knowledge and compassion during this significant life event, fostering a safe and positive birthing experience.

I help facilitate birth at home, our primary birthing unit and in some circumstances, the hospital.
