Laney Hall
About me
Kia Ora, my name is Laney & I have always had a passion for wāhine and the amazing ability their body has to birth their pēpi. I feel strongly about wāhine gaining back their right to birth how they choose. Throughout history the birth of our pēpi has become more and more medicalised. And with that medicalisation a wahine’s authority over her own body, birthing practices and place of birth has diminished. It is time we as wāhine take back our right to birth in a positive, whānau centred environment.
I do acknowledge there is still a time and place for medical intervention, which I support when there may be risks involved for you or your pēpi. Together we can plan a safe and individualised birth experience for you, your pēpi and your whānau.
I work out of Mill Rd Midwives, as a team with Justine Hita, working 1 week on, 1 week off to allow us valuable time for our own whānau as well as supporting wāhine in our community..
Call or text, email may take longer.
