I am working under my old practice name of Positive Birthing as of 1 January 2024. I have recently been appointed to the Midwifery Council of NZ as a health professional member. I have been a midwife for over 40 years and worked as a self-employed caseloading midwife for the last 20+years. I have also worked as a midwifery educator at Massey University and part-time as midwifery advisor at MidCentral DHB. I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and use those skills and knowledge when working with women, babies and families. I co-authored the NZ Pregnancy Book published by Bridget Williams books
