Originally a nurse, I trained to be a midwife in the UK in the 90s. I moved to NZ with my family in 2004. I have worked in all areas of midwifery, from home births to highly complex tertiary maternity care.

My job is not to tell you how you should birth, but to help you figure out what you want and support you to achieve that in a safe way. My passion is helping women to achieve their birth choices, whether that be natural birth or hospital care, providing evidence based care with many years experience.
