Congratulations on your pregnancy. I am a midwife with Queenstown Lakes Midwifery, I have 3 children & a gorgeous granddaughter who was born here in Queenstown. As a midwife I have the privilege of being part of a woman's & a family's journey from the beginning, I believe in providing in partnership with you woman-centred holistic midwifery care that is supportive, safe & individualised. I have practised Midwifery in a variety of settings from a rural base hospital as a core midwife, to a large tertiary hospital birthing unit - including high risk continuity care. I am a Lactation Consultant board certified since 2007. I am a Registered Nurse & previously had various nursing roles predominately in child & family health: the NNU Southland Hospital, Public Health Nurse Qtown & Plunket Nurse Qtown. Queenstown Lakes Midwifery are a small supportive team of midwives, we cover each other for days off and leave, this enables safe, 24/7 midwifery care.

I offer preconception and early pregnancy care. I provide antenatal, labour & birth and postnatal care in the Wakatipu area. I am very supportive of where you choose to birth, I do not travel out of area, however I provide safe effective continuity with midwives out of area for your labour and birth care should you choose to birth at a secondary or tertiary unit. If your pregnancy care requires an obstetrician I can refer and work closely in collaboration with the obstetric teams at Southland and Dunedin Hospitals.
