Congratulations on your pregnancy. I live in Hamilton and have three beautiful children and two grandchildren. I have been a midwife for 12 years and have worked as an LMC and hospital midwife providing tertiary care. I care for a smaller number of women so that I can spend quality time working with women and their families whilst balancing my family life around my work. Being a midwife is very rewarding and I am passionate about working with women and their families, sharing their childbirth and transition to parenthood journey. As a midwife, my belief is that childbirth is an amazing experience, and involves every part of you physically, emotionally and spiritually. I believe that it is my role to support you and provide knowledge and encouragement to enable a positive and safe birth experience while respecting your birth plan and wishes. Each woman and her family are unique and I believe that your care plan should be created to support your choices, and support your birth experience.
