Hi, my name is Heidi and I’m a registered midwife here in the Wakatipu region. I have lived in Queenstown since 2004.

I work in a practice with Debbie Jensen & Grace Godinet, making up Queenstown Lakes Midwifery team. As a midwife I work to ensure you, your baby, and your family are well supported and respected throughout your journey. I believe it is a privilege to work in partnership with women and their families, providing individualised, safe, supportive, evidence-based, and unbiased care. I strive to empower and support women to make informed choices and confident decisions throughout their journey.

I embrace the use of complementary therapies in pregnancy if clients choose, and believe childbirth is a natural physiological process, but also acknowledge that sometimes additional support is required and will work collaboratively with other health professionals. I have experience caring for whānau birthing at home, primary birth & hospitals. I look forward to meeting you.
