Kia ora! I’m Emma, a midwife working here in Ōtepoti Dunedin. I work alongside the lovely midwives at Choice Midwifery.

I believe that the experience of pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood is a deeply personal and transformative journey, and I am honoured to be part of your whānau’s story.

I am passionate in providing care that is inclusive, compassionate, and centred on your needs, empowering you to make informed decisions about your care. Whether you are planning a home birth or a hospital birth, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and fully involved in your care at every step.

Birth is a natural event in life, and I am committed to supporting physiological birth, while remaining open and flexible should you need additional care or interventions. Similarly, I can work alongside the obstetric teams at Dunedin Hospital if complications were to arise during your pregnancy.
